The Clothes Closet, a joint mission with First United Methodist Church, provides free clothing, shoes and blankets. It is located at 119 High Street, north of First Presbyterian Church. The Closet is staffed entirely by volunteers. Over 600 people (avg.) are served each month. We are always looking for new volunteers.
Currently The Clothes Closet is only accepting clothing donations from our church family. Requests for assistance from the public can be called into the church offices at either church, or by Facebook, and our volunteers will gather clothing to be picked up. When we are able to open the building to the public we will go back to our regular schedule: Tuesdays 1:30–3:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
